Act-On acquired 277 new customers in Q2 2012 compared to 246 added the previous quarter (Q1 2012).
In June, Act-On released Act-On Insight, which brings marketers important capabilities for benchmarking and tracking key online marketing metrics while managing and improving their web and social media presence. Act-On Insight enables marketers to do the following:
- Measure and benchmark website traffic and keyword effectiveness
- Evaluate their blogging presence and determine ways to improve both the quality and quantity of their blogs
- Gain competitive insight across social networks like Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn to improve their presence and relevance in these networks
- Engage more effectively with their audience on YouTube in order to increase both the reach and effectiveness of their video content
Expansion of the Team
Act-On grew its employee base by over 200 percent in the last year and continues to add key talent in all major functional areas. The company appointed industry leader David Fowler as its chief privacy and deliverability officer. He brings over 20 years of experience in email and online marketing. His role will include developing best practices in online marketing, helping customers implement those best practices and representing Act-On at key industry groups.
