Act-On integrates with a number of CRM software solutions – including Salesforce. Which is why we were especially excited to showcase and demo our marketing automation solution to the attendees at Dreamforce 2012, Salesforce’s annual event that took place last week in San Francisco.
Act-On’s integration with CRM solutions provides marketers and salespeople with real-time, actionable intelligence on prospects as they move through the pipeline. Using Act-On integrated with CRM allows salespeople to see marketing touch points and why/when a lead has been qualified and assigned to them. For marketers, Act-On integrated with CRM allows them to use lead scoring schema to push high scoring leads into a hot list for sales. This bidirectional communication between CRM and marketing automation ensures that both the sales and marketing departments are working collaboratively to meet the company’s revenue objectives.
The foot traffic at Act-On’s booth at #df12 was buzzing with inquisitive marketers interested in the marketing automation platform; a testament to Act-On’s ability to help marketers do more and be more successful in their jobs.

Yes, much of our time at Dreamforce was spent at our booth, but we were also excited to be able to interact with attendees in a special demo theater and entertain outside of the Moscone Center and Civic Center with surprise flash mobs.
Overall, Dreamforce was an invaluable experience and we’re pleased that we were able to meet so many great marketing and sales professionals.
